Our History

From a humble beginning in 1984 to a landmark institution of Narsapur.

Since 1984

How It All Began

J. Sikile School was founded by Mr. M.J. Sikile and inaugurated on 19 June 1984 by Rt. Rev. T.B.D. Prakasa Rao, Bishop of the Krishna Godavari Diocese, CSI Vijayawada.

The first academic year (1984–85) began on 25 June 1984 with classes I to V and 424 students on the rolls — a remarkable response that reflected the town’s hunger for quality English-medium education.

Over the years, new blocks were inaugurated by distinguished guests including Sri Ch. Venkata Hari Rama Jogaiah, Sri John Lal Rosem IAS, and Mr. B.J.C. Tilsley, as the school grew class by class into a full-fledged institution.
