J. Sikile School welcomes applications for admission from all students regardless of nationality, religion or gender.

The Process

How Admission Works

The admission process follows CBSE guidelines based on interaction / observation / test as may be applicable for different classes. Admissions are made with the provision that students complete their current year in good standing and as per the number of vacancies.

The application form should be accompanied by the latest scholastic record, examination result, extra-curricular activities, and marks / grades / other distinctions obtained, if any, in the previous years.

In no case will a student be admitted into a higher class other than the class for which he/she holds the scholar's register. No student shall be admitted in Class IX and above after the 31st day of August of the year except with prior permission of the Chairman, CBSE / Competent Authority.

Documents Required

  • Two (2) passport size photographs of the student
  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate along with original for verification
  • Passport size photograph of each parent (Father / Mother)
  • Caste Certificate, if SC / ST / OBC
  • Original Transfer Certificate of current school
  • Photocopy of Aadhaar Card of Mother, Father and Student
  • Ration Card photocopy
  • Mother's Bank Account details photocopy
CBSE Rules

Admission to Classes X & XII

As the syllabus prescribed at Secondary & Senior Secondary level is a two-year integrated course, no admission shall be taken in Classes X & XII directly.

Regular Course Completed

Admission to Class X / XII is open only to a student who has completed a regular course of study for Class IX / XI.

CBSE-Affiliated Institution

The student must have passed the Class IX / XI examination from an institution affiliated to the CBSE Board.

Other Recognised Boards

Students from other recognised Boards in India can be admitted only on transfer of parent(s) or shifting of family, with mark sheet and Transfer Certificate duly countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the Board concerned. The school will obtain post-facto approval of the CBSE Board within one month of admission.
